The Baxi Fires Division was created in
November 2000, with the
merger of two of the biggest companies operating in the home
heating market. Newmond Plc which included Valor, Wonderfire and
Morso brands, joined with Baxi heating Limited, which sold fires
under the Baxi and Main brands.

Prochef was founded in 1996, and is
situated in the shadows of the
mountain peaks of Snowdonia, on the Island of Anglesey (or Yns Mon
as it is known locally). We produce a wide range of innovative
cooking appliances in our modern custom built factory, that houses
not only our production and development departments, but also the
team of people who look after our customers.
All great ambitions have humble
beginnings, and ours was born in
a small workshop and a wooden model. The founder of Prochef, Peris
Thomas, had a belief (and still has it), that consumers were often
neglected by big multinational companies who simply sold them a mass
produced Homogeneous oven, that was designed the way it was, simply
