Stripe Fishing
City: Morris
Tel: +1 205 647 7683
Thank you for visiting Stripe Fishing Headquarters. This is a full time striper guide service, which operates year round on Smith Lake in north central Alabama. The purpose of this striped bass guide service is to assure you of a quality, safe and memorable fishing trip. I am very knowledgeable of Smith Lake and the fishing in its waters. In 1970, as a young teenage boy fishing with my father, I caught a 7-pound largemouth bass during one of our many fishing trips on Smith Lake. Little did I know that this fish and this lake would lead to a professional career.Catching this fish created within me a passion for fishing. As I grew up, I spent countless hours fishing with my father and high school and college friends on Smith Lake.My professional fishing career started by winning numerous local bass tournaments on Smith Lake and other lakes in Alabama. In 1985, I won the Anderson Boat night tournament held on Smith Lake with a field of 700 boats. At the time, this was the largest bass tournament ever held in the state of Alabama. I also started competing in regional bass tournaments such as the Hungry Fisherman Bass Circuit where during the first year of competition, I finished 3rd overall in the yearly points standings. Two other fishing accomplishments that I am proud of are a 3rd place finish in 1986 at the Bill Dance Bass Homecoming Tournament held at Chattanooga, Tennessee, and in 1987, I qualified for the U.S. Bass World Championship held on the Savannah River at Augusta, Georgia.

The Beach House
City: Gulf Shores
Tel: +1 251 540 7039
People want things that are hard to find. An old beach house retreat is one of them. A big, rambling wooden house high atop the dunes... large porches overlooking the sea... hammocks and wicker for lounging... comfortable furniture that you can put your feet upon... bedroom windows that give panoramic views and catch sea breezes... wonderful breakfasts in the morning... light, cool refreshment throughout the day... freedom to stroll through the dunes, walk in the surf, swim out to meet the dolphins... or curl up with a good book and drift off into a nap under a lazy ceiling fan... a comfortable place to sip a cold drink while watching the sunset fill the sky... big, sumptuous beds in which to sleep and snuggle.

As the frantic pace of modern life drains us, taking some time for ourselves is especially important. The seashore is where the sky, land, and water all come together. It?s a place that?s soothing and invigorating. It slows us down and wakes us up. It helps us remember who we are... and who we want to be.

We are refugees from the hectic pace of modern times. We invite you to our special place, and we offer you the kind of experience that we like: an easy and informal atmosphere, no responsibilities, good food, and the freedom to pass the time as you wish. We balance "leaving you alone" with "taking care of you". We want a three-day getaway at The Beach House to give you a week?s worth of relaxation.
