My practice is not limited to real estate law. However, I find that the purchase or sale of residential real estate can be a stressful process. That stress, in part comes from not knowing the ultimate cost of the process. Whether you are a purchaser or a seller knowing what costs to expect can alleviate some of the stress.
Although no one can estimate all the costs with complete accuracy until the closing itself, what I attempted to do is design a worksheet which anticipates most of the possible costs. As the closing progresses and more exact figures are available you can come closer to approximating the actual bottom line.
