have arrived at the revolutionary Autoobus Concept. The Autoobus will alleviate traffic
while improving the environment. It will meet the demands of our urban society and fulfil
its need for intelligent personal transport. By implementing the best GPS system available
and combining it with sophisticated computer aided route optimizers, the Autoobus central
stations will be able to coordinate all incoming information and requests with the
availability of vehicles, so that all trips can be made in the minimum time and distance
required.
The costs will be substantially reduced by avoiding inefficient capacity fluctuation,
parallel trips, detours, empty coaches or false destinations. This will reduce traffic and
help improve the environment. Furthermore operating costs will be dramatically reduced,
which will in turn lead to more moderate fares. In addition, a new innovative service
which combines the assets of public and private busses, taxis, and delivery vans will be
