Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What do you mean by "Waterproof Your Hair "?
A. All other
"No Frizz" products are water-soluble. Moisture Block is the first and
only shampoo-soluble product. The patent-pending blend of cosmetic silicones (like
those in high-quality lipsticks) create a waterproof barrier on your hair
that will not come out until the next shampoo. Changes in moisture cannot damage your
hair! Moisture Block is the only product that literally maintains essential
moisture while it blocks excess moisture
up to 100% humidity.
Moisture Block protects your hair against frizz in any climate
while reducing volume and maintaining length, softness and sheen.
Q. If I go out
into rain, fog or 100% humidity, wont my hair frizz up
or go back to its curl
or become full
or shrink-up
as it dries naturally?
A. NO! Even after
a swim with Moisture Block, your hair will dry without shrinkage and will not expand
or frizz. Moisture Block also stops chlorine damage. No other product can make those
claims!
Q. Will Moisture
Block allow color to penetrate my hair?
A. Yes! The
surfactants in color emulsify the silicones, allowing color to penetrate thoroughly.
Moisture Block also improves color maintenance.
Q. How do I use
Moisture Block?
A. Its
simple! First, remember that Moisture Block is not water-soluble
so water
does not aid in distributing the product through your hair. You have to be sure to
"touch every strand of hair"!
Using the right
amount of Moisture Block is essential. It might take you two or three applications
to find the right amount for your hair type and thickness. For thinner hair, start with a dime
size (see below) and add more as needed. For thicker or longer hair, start with a quarter
size (see below) and add more as needed. Be sure that all of the hair has even
distribution. Remember
if your hair feels greasy, you have used too much and must
shampoo out and start over. If your hair feels dry
you havent applied enough.
Apply to towel
dried hair. Rub Moisture Block into your palms and scrunch it into the hair
starting from the ends
then into the roots
and continuing up to the crown.
Brush through and style.
Dime Size Quarter Size
Q. How do I style with
Moisture Block?
A. For natural curls. Apply Moisture Block
then twist one-inch diameters throughout the head and let hang naturally. Dry
naturally or sit under a mild heated dryer for about 15 minutes. The curls will retain the
same length as when wet and will not expand or frizz.
For straightening. Apply Moisture Block
then "messy" dry hair, lightly brushing with a vent brush. Apply a little
more Moisture Block and rake through the hair with your fingers, then brush through.
For a flatter look, use a smaller (preferably ceramic) flat iron. Moisture Block
liquefies when heated, spreading evenly through the sections ironed and leaving the hair
straight and shiny with one stroke.
With other products. You may use any other
styling products you like with Moisture Block.
